meet Founder, Deborah Jonas
Dr. Deborah Jonas founded RAI Partners, LLC in 2026 with the goal of helping education-focused organizations learn and grow, and ultimately, to help students, families, and communities thrive. She leverages experts in her network to form just the right team to address each organization’s needs.
Dr. Jonas has 20 years of experience working with education and nonprofit leaders to create an implement new policies and practices, develop and use tools for continuous improvement, and to embed new programs to benefit of students and families. Her experience includes leadership in a state education agency, in large contract research organizations, and as a small business owner. Clients appreciate the value she brings through her expertise in systems, policy, and practice.
Deborah lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with her partner, Joel, and rescue dogs. She enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, playing weekly trivia, walks in the woods, and contributing to the beauty of Nelson County as a Virginia Master Naturalist volunteer.
